• YSK: Who are the people behind thepoplook.com? :D Tell us about yourselves!
• ThePopLook: We are two sisters, Joanne & Maryanne who while reading economics abroad, spent more time shopping online (well, window-shopping) than studying for our finals! This pretty much explains the birth of thepoplook.com. Now, we work really hard at what we love but also, watching SATC and reading fashion mags are categorized under research! :)

• YSK: What's the story behind the name "ThePopLook"?
• ThePopLook: We were looking for something fun, something youthful, something that "POP"s haha.. well we also decided to make it non gender-specific, so our options are open if in the future we want to go into other areas of fashion.

ThePopLook carries collections that cover today's latest trends,
such as jumpsuits, playsuits, florals, clean-lined maxi dresses and cropped tops -
while also keeping a keen sense of uniqueness in the collections as a whole :)

• YSK: What sort of items does your shop carry? :) We noticed that on top of keeping on top of the latest popular online shopping trends, your store carries authentic brands such as Harajuku Lovers, Junkfood and MINKPINK. :)
  
• ThePopLook: We are working on bringing on more brands locally and internationally. MINKPINK, an Australian brand is currently one of our bestsellers, with the quality and style of other popular high street brands (TOPSHOP, Miss Selfridge etc). • ThePopLook: Well, both of us have very similar styles and would often pick out the same items while we shop! Close friends and siblings describe our style as "ah ma". Haha.. our brother says we wear curtains from the depression. To explain, we basically like florals, vintage pieces, and a current obsession with bold prints! The items we select for thepoplook.com are an extension of what we like. We always keep in mind that thepoplook.com carries something for everyone!

Nobody does vintage outfits and floral goodies like ThePopLook does! ;P
