'Tis the season to be jolly, because it's the season of gift-giving and everything is on sale! And when a wholesale store like Cassa Fashion is having massive discounts, you don't really need to think twice before hitting on their Sales tab to check out these super-ridiculous-cheap-but-getting-cheaper bargains.

Cassa Fashion: Where bulk buying means getting MOAR stuff for CHEAPER prices!

Cassa Fashion is based in Pusat Perniagaan BBK, in Klang. Their showroom and wholesale operating centre operates daily from 11.00am to 8.30pm, from Monday to Saturday. For those of you who have a day job but would like to operate an online business dealing with fashion, this is a great place to be. You can simply do your stocking up after working hours by walking in to their stores to pick your stocks. Alternatively, if sitting in front of the PC is your preferred method, you can opt to purchase online and have it delivered to you. For small starter businesses, you can always opt for dropship method to kickstart your online enterprise. Read more about their wholesale policy HERE!

Look out for their updates every week to get the latest trends from Korea and Taiwan. If you have no intention to be an online entrepreneur but merely loves shopping excessively, you can do so too in Cassa Fashion! You only need to buy a minimum of 8 pieces to enjoy the wholesale rate as seen in their site ;) Here are some pics of my personal spree from Cassa. I shared the spree with another 3 more friends to make up the 8 pieces - which is something you can do with your girl friends as well! ;)

Cassa also distribute the Geo Lens - colored contact lenses imported from Korea. If you are concerned if these claim-to-be-lenses are the original Geo Lens, worry not! These people from Cassa do understand the buyers' concern and have thus attached the certificate of authenticity to certify that their lenses comes directly from the manufacturer of Geo Lens, in Korea.

This is an expired copy I retrieved from them.
Do ask for the updated one ;)

Product Review: Konjac Cleansing Sponge

By Cynthia (Guest Blogger)

Asia has done it again! First, there was BB cream. Then, there were all sorts of awesome blackhead-battling masks. And now, there's the Konjac Cleansing Sponge! The craze is on, and we just had to test this new popular product out for you guys. ;)

Available from: Styles4u | Price: RM30 RM23
Well, it is a facial sponge =D The Konjac Care Face Cleansing Jelly Sponge made from the Konjac plant, widely found in Japan, is 100% natural, colouring and additive free, biodegradable and environmentally safe.

The sponge comes in sealed damp bag and is soft when pressed on. Unlike our normal facial sponge which requires it to be soaked, this one comes in a moist packaging and is ready for use immediately. At the first sight of this black lil' sponge, I was pretty worried that it may squirt out squid ink when pressed hehe!

The sponge in a damp packaging and look at the texture!
Like some charcoal-burnt cookie :3

This revolutionary sponge claims to be able to clean your skin with the presence of natural alkaline in the konjac ingredient. You don't really need to lather with facial foam. The texture looks coarse, but it's actually soft to the touch with a slight rough surface for the purpose of exfoliation. The konjac fiber is originally white in color, and this lil' black piece I had is one with charcoal, which is another element suitable for those with sensitive or acne prone skin.

How I Use It
  • I like that the sponge comes attached with a tiny string for you to hang anywhere in the shower. As it comes in a damp condition, I reckon it doesn't require to be hung at dry area. That's what I normally do when I use the normal facial sponge - to peg it on the window and air dry it, so that it will not turn mouldy ;(
  • The konjac is meant to be damp and the ability to soak in water in that small little hemisphere ball is amazing! Though it can be used alone, I prefer to use it with some facial cleanser of exfoliating gel when washing my face off make up. In between the days when I do need to freshen up the face, I normally use it as it is.

How I Find The Product
It provides gentle exfoliation and does not irritate my skin so far. No redness after the scrubbing. It's also great that it's in such a shape and it means that it's easily to navigate on areas like the side of the nose and around the corner of the eyes.

  • By now, it's been a week that I have used the sponge. The face does feel supple and plumped up after every wash. It's like a massage session for the face! Naturally, it feels softer too after the using the natural sponge. It's like rubbing vegetable fiber on the face!
  • After every wash, I would normally slap on some hydrating serum or light moisturiser, just in case I washed way too long and dries up the skin. I am currently trying the Skincology Hydrating Serum for that hydration need. Review of that will be up soon!

Is it worth buying?
If you have always been looking for it, now you can have a try at this wonderful konjac sponge at a discounted price of RM23 only in Styles4u, which is an online platform that sells a variety of Korean and Taiwanese beauty products that may not be easily accessible on the retail counter. If you are a fan of Missha range of skincare and beauty products, this is the place to go! They have a pretty wide range of beauty solution from the Missha brand, Skin79, and latest addition to their range - Skincology, which houses a pretty affordable line which is quite a popular brand in Taiwan.

Mirror, mirror, on the wall...

By Cynthia (Guest Blogger)

Mirror, mirror, on the wall ...
Who is the most coveted of us all?

Each fashionista's signature style may be different, but the mark each one has in common is how she turns heads and how her ensembles are coveted by others. Covetz is a local online store that aims to provide you with these coveted wardrobe pieces. You probably already know the defining features of head-turning, classic pieces - not too mainstream, got a twang of uniqueness, and versatile enough to be worn with a different pair of shorts or top to look like a whole new outfit!

Covetz houses a collection of apparel that gives you just that. A collaboration between two sisters who are shopaholics themselves - so it's by shopaholics, for shopaholics! ;) Nothing rings a better bell to the happy shoppers at Your Shopping Kaki. :D

Covetz is a Malaysian-born store with rigorous international standards - from wishlists to ease your screen-browsing so you can save your favourite items, to the increasingly popular shopping cart system. Personally, I've grown very fond of this organized online shopping because I shop online a lot and struggle to track how many items I have set my sight on! :P With features such as Wish List, you are able to bookmark the desired piece for viewing later! ;)

Fickle minded? Keep track of your item in the Wish List while you decide!

With the informative shopping cart system practised by Covetz, you literally save the hassle to e-mail the seller to ask for further information or book hot-selling New Arrivals, thus spending more time browsing on the collections =D

Some of the hard-to-resist items from COVETZ

Also available are some in-house manufactured pieces, Covetz has a long-term plan to come up with more fashion wear under their own label. With prices ranging from RM49 to RM129 for semi-exclusive apparel, that sounds pretty reasonable. By having it manufactured just for their brand, you can be assured that there won't be another 499 more girls out there to be in the same outfit as you ;) Here are some of their own collection under their own brand name:

With such fine selection of fashion wear, no wonder their collection is a favourite among many local fashion bloggers!

It's your turn to be coveted. ;)
