Totally Worth Your Time

by Cynthia Lee

If you have followed us, we have previously written about the Food Edition of Worthy Book.
There is actually another edition of the coupon based booklet - the Ladies Edition.
A Ladies Edition - where you get to save on all things that a lady may need in her beautification process (not that natural beauty is not helping!)

Who doesn't love making purchase at a discounted rate? When you save more on a purchase, it literally means you have managed to do some saving from one purchase and be able to use the saving for more purchases (get the theory here?)

WORTHY BOOK - Ladies Edition at RM25
The ladies Edition covers almost everything from facial services to lingerie, shoes and bags shopping! In total there are 160 vouchers tucked in this coupon booklet that you can use for a period of a whole year.

Personally, I don't think it's possible to use up ALL of the fabulous discounts coupons despite having a whole year. But what about sharing it out with your family and friends and make it worthy of your purchase. It is not called a Worthy Book for no reason, aite? The Worthy Book also makes perfect gifts if you don't really have much clue what is your girlfriend's personal favourite. Let her choose from the selection of coupons in Worthy book :)

Still not convinced? Let's have a look on what you can expect in the coupon booklet.

Christy Ng is offering Buy 1 Free 1 and RM50 voucher for some of it's selection

Always a fan of Ice Watch so this is double bonus! As much as 50% for some of it's collection!
Up to 40% discount at MyDressRoom
Up to 58% for selected Skinlab products
Get some fabulous nail treatment from Sugar Coat with discounts up to 50%
Our favourite online beauty shop - Supermodels Secrets with discounts up to 50% for their famous whitening collection.
While there are some participating vendors who only have outlets in Klang Valley, there are also quite alot of chain outlets who have stores nationwide. The WorthyBook make browsing easy by including some Index pages for you to refer to, sorted in accordance to states, by mall and by area.
Do check them out here : Worthy Book Ladies edition

Price : RM25
Where to get : in most major bookstores (MPH, Borders, Popular Bookstores etc) and 7-Eleven
Duration of coupon availability : May 2015 - 30 April 2016 (you still have 4 months to splurge!)

The Bite That Went Crazy

by Cynthia Lee

This. Is a post about all things that we put into our mouth and feel oh-so-good.
Welcome to Crazy Bites - you won't get mentally crazy, but I think you will go crazy for not revisiting it after the first trip :)

alt="Crazy Bites Burger" />
Crazily screaming for attention in SS15 Subang Jaya

I am not a fast food joint person. I am not even sure that this is a fast food joint. It looked like one with the tables arrangement and menu, but it doesn't look like one when I see what's on the table! Confused! Okay, I just found out it is not a fast food restaurant :)

Check out the assortment of burger!

Anyway, I was lucky to savour the spread offered by Crazy Bites located in SS15 Subang Jaya.
There's aplenty of choices from their signature juicy burgers to mouth watering pizzas and even local delish.
alt="good food in Subang Jaya SS15" />
Of burgers, pizzas and olios!
So what do you start with when there's aplenty of choice?
Always go in a group so you can share your food and you get to try out more at one go!

Let's start with the pizzas you can get here.

Served on a wooden board, it sure does look like something fresh out of the oven, onto the board and ready to be served!
The pizzas here are thin crusted. Comes in a serving of 6 slices topped with your choice of chicken, mushroom, and other options which I cannot recall (since I did not manage to savour all).
These comes in ala-carte with a choice to upgrade for an additional RM3.

You can have your pizza in ala-carte or add RM3 to make it a set.

The burgers is a must-try when you visit the Crazy Bites. The patties are made in-house, with their own concocted recipes. Again, I must re-iterate, this is not a fast-food joints. Hence, most of the food here are made to order. You will need about 15-20mins of waiting time before your delicious platter is served :)

Personally, I have tried the Ox Bites several times, then there's Apple Mushroom (for those who is avoiding meat), and the Teriyaki Rooster and the Goat Bites to name a few of the common ones from the menu.

I love the Ox Bites burger! The tender and juicy patty is simply too hard to forget!

The sweet potato fries is a must!  And a much healthier option than the normal fries :)

This is my juicy Ox Bites!
Must I say again that I recommend the Ox Bites if you love beef?
Fries are sold separately. Add RM3 to get your sweet potato fries with a cup of drinks.
We loved these!
Pasta lovers too will definite enjoy their time over a bowl of awesomeness. Priced from RM12.80 to RM16.80 per meal, the serving is decent enough as a full meal or sharing. I have my personal favourite too form their selection of 7 types of pasta. The gravy is again made in-house and my favourite of them all would be the Seafood Aglio Olio. Springy pasta with this delicious sauce that I cannot decipher made of what, but generously rich in spice. The last that my colleagues and me dropped by, I saw the girls were dipping their burger buns into it!

You know how cluttered a table can be when you ordered too many plates of food?
The pasta here are served in colorful space-saving bowls

Yes, pointing to you my favourite of 'em all!

If you happen to be around SS15, Subang Jaya, do drop by for a quick bite.
The Crazy Bites is currently having an All Day Long Promotion from Monday to Sunday where you get to order their main meal at only RM9.90 to come with drinks. That's even cheaper than your favourite fast-food joint!

Check out the promotion at their outlet, or simply drop by :)
Here's an honest summary that I would give since I almost never review  food.

Location    : SS15 Subang Jaya, Selangor. Unfortunately no other outlet as yet.
Ambience  : very 'fast-food' joint, but equally spacious
Price          : almost to very affordable considering that it's not fast-food. Pasta is cheap!
Food          : pretty decent with new recipes to try, even the drinks comes in various concoction.
Speed        : avoid going when you are EXTREMELY hungry. Waiting time about 15 mins.
Wifi          : say HELLO to WIFI!

My fave burger set!

Cashback with ShopBack

by Cynthia Lee

This is going to be a great news for you girls out there who have been cutting short on your shopping expenses due to the weaker Ringgit.

Have you heard of ShopBack?
It is an online Cashback platform  that connects  merchants and shoppers (like us!). Originated form Singagore, it has landed in Malaysia for a couple of months back. I got to know about them a few months back from a blogger friend who have introduced me to it. Since then I have started to religiously using it whenever I shop online!

Merchants aplenty!
With over 300 merchants and growing, there's a myriad of choice to select from. Already have a online shop in mind that you intend to browse?
Wait! Log on to your ShopBack account to do your browsing instead. There's both local and international sites to choose from. From international sites likeDaniel Wellington, Asos, Steve Madden, there's also our daily must-visit local sites like Zalora and Groupon to choose.

How Does It Work?
Basically, it's like your usual shopping spree online, but this time, you actually get to save more by having cashback value based on your purchase.
Here's a simple guide through, using my favourite shop, Asos! =D

Notice the caption '5% Cashback'? It simply means that Asos will be offering a 5% cashback discount if you shop via ShopBack. With no additional terms and conditons yo!
Simply click on the Asos link via Shopback to do your browsing and make your purchase (non-sales or sales item is included).
This literally means you get additional 5% discount in the form of cahsback on top of whatever discount you are already enjoying from the site itself. Of course you don't get yoiur cash back immediately. You can see it being registered in your ShopBack Account. If you notive the above image for Asos, there is a mention that Cashback is tracked within 3 hours. So yeah, please do not immediately ring up the people in Shopback when you do not see the transaction registered in your accounts 5 minutes after your purchase :)

You can redeem your cashback amount based on the days indicated on every vendors' terms and conditions. It may range from 30 to 60 days depending on the vendors, but why hurry? I love seeing that I have cashback available for cashout from time to time without me realising it. It's like a hiddne piggy bank when you are in a semi-broke day! =D

As I already have an account, let me show you the real thing ;)
There are 5 tabs for you to monitor : Pending, Redeemable, Bonus (money you get when you refer friends), Paid Out and Total Earnings.

All your clicks via Shopback to any of the vendors in their list is tracked regardless of whether you have made a purchas eor not. But when you do make a purchase, then your transaction will be captured and any amount that you can redeem for the purchase will go under the Pending tab until it's due for payment.

If you would like to skip my lengthy explanation, I suggest you go create an account for yourself now and start saving as you shop!

Move into Midis!

By Wei Ni (Guest Blogger)

Midi skirts are all the rage right now! What was popular back in the 1940s is now a must have item in every fashionista's closet!

The midi skirt first came about in the 40s, where the fashion decade was well known for it's elegance. And it is because of its elegance that the midi skirt is now a big hit amongst celebrities and fashion bloggers. We believe that regardless of your age, you are sure to find a midi skirt that will look good on you at any time of your life!

Below we've sorted the midi skirts into Flares & Fitted. They're both equally stunning but each has their own look, feel & charm. :)

First up, Flares!
The flared midi skirt is reminiscent of the 40s, with it's cinched in waist, light pleats and full skirt. Back in the days, they were often paired up with conservative blouses & kitten heels. These days, how you style up your flared midi skirt is very much up to your own creativity & individuality.
The midi skirt looks especially great when paired with a fitted crop top (another must have piece!). The crop top sit comfortably right above the navel, while the midi skirt sits right on the navel, giving you a hint of skin without showing off too much.
For a more preppy or even office friendly look, pair up your flared midi skirt with a sleek button down blouse. We particularly love the sweater over button down blouse combination, it's sleek & chic and totally office appropriate. Pair it with kitten heels & you're set!

Following up with Fitted!
The fitted midi skirts adds a more streamlined & clean look to your style. If you're one for clean lines, the fitted midi skirt might be the one for you. These come in a myriad of styles & cuts, with slits or without, in glitzy glitter or nautical stripes, some with a flirty drop hem/low peplum.
A pair of fitted midi skirt will sit at the smallest part of your waist & hug your curves all the way down to your knees, making this a truly figure flattering item to have in your wardrobe. Because of their midi lengths, by pairing them with heels they add height & length to your body, giving you a taller look.
When pairing up the fitted midi skirt, feel free to go a little bulkier at the top with an oversized top or jacket, this adds a bit of volume & interest to your outfit. Pairing the more formal fitted midi skirts with a casual statement tee lends a relaxed appeal to your entire look.

And it's time to SHOP!
