Dear readers,
I don't know the extent of the truth in this matter - whether or not it's just a scare - but I figure, it's better to be safe than sorry. Saw someone post up this link on Diary of an E-shopaholic's chatbox: *Click here to read the link*.
Basically, the website says that someone who went to Urbanscapes on Saturday is confirmed to have been infected by the H1N1 virus (a.k.a. Influenza A) - so anyone who attended Urbanscapes, please attend a check-up as soon as possible.
Edit (1st July, 5.55pm): Latest news on the grapevine is that someone who was H1N1 positive - and knew it - broke quarantine and attended Urbanscapes. Please go for check-ups immediately.
There has been confirmation on the side of KLue Urbanscapes organisers: kindly visit this Twitter page and the Urbanscapes website.
The following steps are advisable:
1) Go for a check-up at your hospital or clinic,
2) Impose a seven-day home quarantine on yourself, and
3) Minimize contact with others until the 7 days are over.
Whether you're feeling fit as a fiddle or not, okay? Let's not play with lives. Stay safe, everyone! Spread the word, tell your friends.
