The Little White Dress may have taken a bit of a backseat to its famous counterpart, but it's such a young, cute frock to rock that you just gotta have one! :D
But like most people, I never owned a Little White Dress - I figured it was less slimming than black dresses and I worried about stuff like "what if the material was see-through?"
When Stephanie from Laly Lulu Plus Size Fashion approached me to write about their Charlotte Russe white bustier dress, she was very enthusiastic about the dress. It's really beautiful, the cutting is very flattering for any body type, it comes in two sizes - US 11 (UK14-16) and US 13 (UK16-18).

It was originally priced at RM88, but it's on sale now at only RM44! Stephanie sent one of the dresses to me in size 13 - a perfect fit for me - and once I tried it on, I realised that this was the kind of dress that looks even better in real life than in photos. Like, mindblowingly nice dress that's really hard to portray in pictures!

The material is good quality, with floral prints, there's a zipper at the back for that wonderful bustier fit - even better than smocking - and the cutting, oh wow, the cutting creates the illusion of an hourglass figure that'll be the envy of all the other dresses in your wardrobe!
The dress also has a padded bust, which means you can wear this dress without a bra - but because it's meant for Caucasian body types and Asians are generally less busty - I recommend wearing a padded bra under the dress. :) It'll fill up the space really nicely, lol! But this is only if the bust area is a tad too loose on you - like it was on me. ;)

Faye - sorry for the late reply, just got home today after 10 days in Sri Lanka! :) I can't really speak for their service because Stephanie (the owner of LalyLulu) sent the dress to me just to review the dress, but I found her friendly and nice :)
Perhaps the complaint in NOS might not apply to this white dress because this is ready stock - there is not meant to be a long wait for your item. :)

@ Faye: we ought to make a comment and explanation on this matter on NOS but I think it'll be better for us to communicate with the author itself than to the public. it happened due to miscommunication and i don't wish to create any unncessary drama there. nevertheless, don't worry.
