Bazaar Review: KUTU MARKET
By: Cynthia (Guest Blogger)
Hello! While some of you are still all hyped up over bargains from the recent Chic Pop Bazaar, let me talk about another bazaar around town- Kutu Market!
That big kutu I was telling you!!
There has been 2 session of Kutu Market so far and I have been to both =) As the banner says it all, it's held in Bistro 69, Damansara Perdana. Literally, not INSIDE the restaurant, but alongside the outdoor pavement of the restaurant =)
It isn't that hot despite being outdoors and at 3pm. I supposed, when one is busy browsing for bargains, there is no time to feel agitated with the weather =D Despite a small set up, there were pretty much a variety of stuff to fit people of all different styles. There were books, clothes (of course!), accessories, children's wear and artsy stuff. And lots of people dressing up in quirky dressing =P
Parking on a Sunday in Damansara is a breeze. You can opt to simply park by the road side (getting summons at your own risk =P) or pay a small sum of RM2 per entry into Metropolitan Square (weekends only).

Floral bags of all shapes and sizes and pre-loved shoes available for sales.
See what I say that it caters to people of all walks of life and taste? ;)

I bought a NEW Michael Buble CD and preloved Joss Stone for RM5 each!!
Way better than buying CD cetak rompak! ;)
After you are done shopping, head on to the bistro itself and quench your thirst with a variation of drinks- alcohol and non-alcohol and perhaps have grab some lunch too ;)
My friend Jac (who is wearing the hand made watch from Me Love Vigilant)
bought the Union Jack shopping bag from Eff-Bombs.
On a lighter note, that's Mei, of Eff-Bombs and me trying to classify our UK sizing
into 2 easy categories - Pork and Pork Free -__-

For a very reasonable rate, you will be able to rent yourself a spot and polish your selling and persuasion skills ;) You can reach the Kutu Team via Facebook HERE and get yourself notified of any upcoming events.
I noticed they have some pretty new vendors which I don't normally see in the regular bazaars, which is good as it would mean new faces, new stuff! Definitely worth a visit! Sorry for the lack of pictures. Too busy scaveging on cheap CDs! A Kutu once in a while will eventually make you itch for more! =P
Happy Shopping!
