Feeling a lil Spring-y

Hello blogosphere!

It's been a while since I have been doing much blog-scouting to check on the latest fashion in town.

And let'c check out some spring inspired styles available in the blogosphere.

I am so in the mood for Spring after I attended the Carlo Rino Spring / Summer  2014 showcase.

We were told that the color for the season is navy blue!

Was browsing thru Lush-Doodles and found out that they take in pre-order spree for this particular brand , Lucy In The Sky, and oh dear! Indeed a sky of trends from Australia that got me clicking non stop!

Happy color makes happy people! The bright hues of spring surely does play a lot of contrast if you wear a lot of dark colors.

See? This is the season for navy blue!

But of course, I can't possibly miss out the red I would want to see in my wardrobe.

Habibi ya Habib Jewel!

If you have been frequenting shopping malls of late, you could have walked into a haven of sparkles from Habib Jewels.

The Habib Diamond Fest 2014 which starts in April is a month long campaign to showcase their sparkling pieces. The event launched in Bangsar Village 2 shows an array of breathtaking collection from Habib Jewels.

These also includes the signatures Hearts on Fire Collection. If you are not a fan of diamond, you most probably have no idea what is 'on fire'.

Hearts on Fire brings to you the worlds most finely cut diamond with utmost perfection. Again, if you are not a diamond fan, you may not know that there are 'imperfect' diamond and these super perfect diamond. And how do you normally differentiate them? The 'BLING' and the 'PRICE BLING' of course =)

Habib Jewels is the main Malaysia vendor that carries the Hearts on Fire series. The current Diamond Fest showcases the Illa Collection from Hearts on Fire - a collection by the Italian designer, Ilaria.

It was both a jaw-dropping and eye-opening experience to be able to attend a mini session hosted by Habib to introduce on the collection, held in Delicious Bangsar.

Guest were treated to brunch in Delicious and it was of course delicious!

The collection is pretty much simplistic in concept but are highly accentuated with the glaring sparkles from these perfectly cut diamond. Among some of the interesting pieces of the day was the following ;

Illa Right Hand Ring

 Reminiscent of a shooting star this sparkling ring wraps around two fingers. You truly will stand out from the crowd in this Hearts On Fire diamond ring

If I am not mistaken, the ring is about RM64,000 *opens mouth wide wide*

Illa Cluster Pendant

Simple and classic star comprising of perfectly cut Hearts on Fire retails at a minimum of RM16,000 

 

ladies and gentleman and here we introduce to you the Lorelai Diamond Collar necklace worth RM520,000 

*jaw drop all the way*

Up close of the gorgeous collection for those who can afford and have expensive taste :)

Guest were then brought over to the centre courtyard area where the Habib display were. There was a small photobooth area for guest to try out the diamond pieces. Yes! To try on those RM500,000 accessories!

Who needs any props when you have these diamond jewelleries? :)

Hearts on Fire aside, Habib Jewels own range of jewelries is definitely an affordable option for us normal human being with no extraordinary wealth. Getting engaged? Wanting to get your mum or beloved sister a diamond ring or earrings? Designs aplenty at Habib Jewels!

Head on to any of the Habib Jewels stores and check out the current promo since it's the Diamond Fest for the month of April. The last I dropped in to the one in Bangsar Village, my friend Fiona spotted and eternity ring (she said some wedding ring design worn by Jessica Simpson or someone) that is going on 50% from RM5,000 of the retail rate. Psttt.... bring the boyfriend along and hint hard!

Carlo Rino Event: Spring into Summer Fashion!

On Sunday, I was invited by Cynthia to head over to Mid Valley to check out Carlo Rino's Spring/Summer Fashion Show and am I glad I did! I absolutely loved the way Carlo Rino's stylist styled up every single look! 

Fun. Feminine. Glamourous. Glitzy. Gorgeous.
Those are the 5 words that will aptly describe Carlo Rino's Spring/Summer '14 Collection!

Vivacious Valentine is a pretty collection filled with feminine colours & adorned with ladybug prints, faux lock charms on the buckles & British-inspired knotted rope motifs!

Carlo Rino's collection of Cute Carry-Alls are perfect for those who love multi-coloured floral motifs, along with sweet rainbow coloured stripes with matching charms & trimmings!

They also have a range of adorable sling bags, backpacks & duffels! These are perfect for casual day outs!

Since my sister needed a pair of classy flats, I got this pair of black with gold metal detailing t-bar ones for her. She's loving it!

And doesn't it just go with her Peep T-shirt Slit Maxi Dress in Grey Wolfgirl. ;)

A day shopping is always a good day! :D
