Delightful Spring Pastels with Carlo Rino

Hi YSK-ers! So sorry this post took forever! Between CNY & everything else there just wasn't enough time to prep it all! Anyways, without delay here's our rundown on Carlo Rino's Spring Breeze 2015 Collection event!

We started off with a very informative & helpful face exercise session by Sothys. They showed us the various ways we can exercise our face just 5 minutes a day to keep it looking young & supple. :) 

Following that, we had a session by Miko Gelare to talk to us about the different hair types & what Keratase products would go well. For me with my obsession for bleach & colour, they recommended the Bain Chroma Riche range. If you're looking to do either a hair/scalp treatment, do drop by any Miko Gelare outlets to receive a free hair/scalp consultation. :)

Because my sister & I wanted to win some free hair items, we went up and answered a couple of questions! :)

And finally, what we have all been waiting for, the debut of CARLO RINO'S SPRING BREEZE 2015 COLLECTION!

A cheerful & fun collection! Bags in all sizes for all occasions! 

The models kept the entire runway show, lighthearted & fun by stopping by a couple of products in the store & matching them with their outfits! There was even a selfie moment! :O 

 Strong prints & wild colours! 

The final look! I must say that the entire collection is incredibly fun, flirty, colourful & totally appropriate for Spring! Definitely loving the navy blue small sling bag & the red one!

Love, Bonito Launch + Fashion Show!

Isn't it strange how things kinda come together randomly, all at once? :)

I was invited by Cynthia (guest blogger on YSK & in charge of most things!) to attend Harith Iskander's 'To Know Malaysia is to Laugh Malaysia!' launch event on a fine Saturday afternoon, only to meet with Joyce (Kinky Blue Fairy) for the very first time & to be invited to the launch of Love, Bonito's store in Publika which she emceed for! :)

A little about Love, Bonito. 

They're the pioneering online fashion retail label in Singapore. Driven by a shared passion to empower women through style, Love, Bonito has earned a reputation for expertly striking a balance between style and affordability. Having emerged onto Singapore’s online fashion retail scene in 2006 as a humble blog shop, Love, Bonito has since been showered with accolades of awards ranging from “Best Blog Shop” at the Asia Pacific Blog Awards in 2009, to the coveted SME Asia Award 2013/2014 awarded by The Asian Business Journal and The Trade and Industry Association.

Now those are quite a bunch of hefty achievements aren't they!

In conjunction with the launch of their store in Publika, Love, Bonito also took to opportunity to create a capsule collection with the ever popular blogger, Cheesie of Cheeserland!

This fashion show is a special treat for all us Malaysians, as all of Cheesie's 8 delightful Autumn pieces will be debuted in their pop-up store in Publika before being officially launched on the Love, Bonito website! We've also been informed that once a design is sold out, they will not be remaking it anymore so you can be assured that you'll be one of the lucky few who managed to snag that piece! 

Two of my favourite looks from Cheesie x Love, Bonito collection! I love the monochromatic tropical inspired prints! They work perfectly with Fall & doesn't help that I am going through a totally monochromatic phase. ;)

Flirty short lengths! 

A gorgeous side split chiffon dress with a half back cut out! This dress is moving FAST both on Love, Bonito's website and their retail space. Four people in a wedding have been spotted in this dress in various shades! :O

It is an amazing & wonderful story of how a small Singaporean blog shop managed to grow into such a huge fashion label!

Carlo Rino Event: Spring into Summer Fashion!

On Sunday, I was invited by Cynthia to head over to Mid Valley to check out Carlo Rino's Spring/Summer Fashion Show and am I glad I did! I absolutely loved the way Carlo Rino's stylist styled up every single look! 

Fun. Feminine. Glamourous. Glitzy. Gorgeous.
Those are the 5 words that will aptly describe Carlo Rino's Spring/Summer '14 Collection!

Vivacious Valentine is a pretty collection filled with feminine colours & adorned with ladybug prints, faux lock charms on the buckles & British-inspired knotted rope motifs!

Carlo Rino's collection of Cute Carry-Alls are perfect for those who love multi-coloured floral motifs, along with sweet rainbow coloured stripes with matching charms & trimmings!

They also have a range of adorable sling bags, backpacks & duffels! These are perfect for casual day outs!
