Oh, these Pretty Little Things!

What an apt name for a whole hoard of pretty little accessories!

Accessories for one are small, little things that work well with sprucing up an outfit. Put on your usual t-shirt & shorts combo but don’t wanna look like you just rolled out of bed, a bold statement necklace or a bold ring around your finger might just work to take you from bedside to glam! Well, perhaps not all out glam but definitely better than out of bed. Unless that’s what you’re going for of course, then by all means. :)

When Pretty Little Things came around, I must say they’ve got really affordable and pretty little accessories! So without further delay, here’s a quick little post of all the great little accessories up for grabs at Pretty Little Things.

3 finger ring! While it might not be the best for using chopsticks, they sure do look good!

If you like things big & vintage. This ring might just be the one for you! Plus, we think it’ll look great with just about any other outfits you might choose to wear that day!

Can you say CUTE? Totally reminds me of the Phantom of the Opera for some reason. While it’s unique, I can’t quite say it’s the favourite of the lot for me. A tad too small for my giant fingers.

My favourites have definitely gotta be the 3 finger ring & the vintage one! They come in a nice bronze, antique finish and are a bunch of rings that are incredibly versatile.

As I usually prefer my accessories bigger, I can’t say I am quite a fan of the heart shaped one, but I do think that it will go perfectly with anyone who wants to start of wearing accessories but don’t know how to start. It’s got a simple silver finish and the pendant is tiny & subtle. If you’ve got on a top/dress that’s pretty bold in pattern & design, a tiny little necklace might be just what you need.

The simple silver ribbon bracelet is incredibly girly and totally sweet! If that’s who you are or perhaps it’s just the look you would wanna pull off that particular day, this simple silver ribbon bracelet just has your name written all over it!

3 Finger ring glams up a simple Navy blue mini dress. Totally impractical for eating, but wear it on your non-dominant hand & it makes a great knuckle duster! Great tool for self protection! ;) 

Dainty pieces! Adding a touch of interest to a Basic long sleeve top. Tiny blue heart shaped necklace & Phantom of the Opera ring.

Beauty Makeovers 101

It's every girl's secret fantasy - whether we're little girls watching The Princess Diaries or grown-up women wanting to be made-over into blooming butterflies. We've all seen it at some point in our lives - perhaps on your favourite reality TV program about Plain Janes being transformed into Sexy Susannahs, or when you went out shopping with your girlfriends and there was a makeover workshop at the mall's concourse. You know what I'm talking about - beauty makeovers! :D

Now imagine what a fun event it would be to have a whole 3 days filled with makeovers, information about makeovers, and makeovers you can DIY at home? Omgz!

That's where the Makeover Beauty Expo 2012 comes in!

I'm not sure about the rest of you beauty junkies out there, but this is most probably my first time hearing about the Makeover Beauty Expo 2012. Organised by One Expo, the Makeover Beauty Expo 2012 is their third installment and this time they will be having 82 booths occupied by all the relevant professionals in the beauty industry, fashion houses, modelling agencies and suppliers and manufacturers form the industries of course.

Certainly an event not to be missed if you're considering a profession in the beauty industry or looking for suppliers for your business. And of course, for freeloaders like me or any of you who are not in the industry but love beauty stuff, this is the time to barge in and get some goodie bags and scout for bargains!! =D

Selamat Hari Raya!

I seriously do not quite understand the current trend of galactic prints and unicorns and all things magical in the universe =D But if this is the season's trend then it must be so right to be seen in it!
