Anti-aging magic serum : GRAYMELIN ASTA STEMCELL SERUM

Any anti aging is a win win in every womens heart. Once they hear anti-aging, their eyes turn like this ​. Anti-aging products have been a fav among all women ranging from different age group, young or old. Women will find every means to take years off their age, even if it includes doing some household remedies or even follow some superstitious from back in the days, which i am guilty for. 

One day i came across this serum called GRAYMELIN ASTA STEMCELL ANTI-WRINKLE & ANTI AGING SERUM. Straight away the description of the serum as it was anti-aging, anti-wrinkle & it had stemcell's inside it which i've read many articles & watched many aesthetic doctor videos on youtube claiming to dramatically reduce the appearances of wrinkles, fine lines & leaves the skin looking younger without any signs of aging.

I was so excited to try it and here are the results. This serum has boosted my self confidence by 100% when i go out bare face as it gives the skin a glow that doesn't go away. Usually right after a regular facial, my face would look youthful and glowing due to the serum that has been put on my face, but as soon as i wash it off, the glow is

immediately gone.

However, with GRAYMELIN ASTA STEMCELL ANTI-WRINKLE & ANTI AGING SERUM  my "JLO" glow or korean glow last for DAYS !. Plus my pores have shrunken, scars slowly disappeared, a post acne spots lighten & also my acne started to lessen. This is truly one of the best investments that cost below RM100.

Here is my honest review on GRAYMELIN ASTA STEMCELL SERUM & the steps on how to apply it. 

When and how to use: After cleansing (and after applying any toner, booster, and essence steps in your skincare routine), apply a thin layer to face and neck. Pat in or let dry slightly, then move on to the next step. Graymelin suggests that people with drier complexions apply two layers of this product instead of one in order to maximize hydration. Fiddy says it makes more sense to follow this product up with a different hydrating layer if you need more hydration, because then you’ll benefit from a wider variety of other beneficial ingredients rather than just stacking more of the same. Why only eat carrots when you can eat carrots and kale?

Graymelin Astastemcell Anti-Wrinkle Serum ingredients: (pulled from Hwahae via Tracy of Fanserviced-B and the Snailcast):  Water, PEG/PPG-17/6 copolymer, butylene glycol, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, butylene glycol, betaine, Bis-PEG-18 methyl ether dimethyltaurate, scutellaria baicalensis root extract, paeonia suffruticosa root extract, astaxanthin, hydrolyzed collagen, camellia sinensis callus culture extract, sodium hyaluronate, hydrolyzed pea protein, lecithin, olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, squalane, phytosterols, ceramide 3, butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter, acrylates/C10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, triethanolamine, sodium polyacrylate, adenosine, allantoin, dipotassium glycyrrhizate

Texture:  Non sticky, more like a jelly texture but once applied it is water based. Making the skin feel oil free for the reast of the day

Results: Pores shrunk alot in the first few weeks of using it and my uneven skin tone is no more. Bye bye uneven skin tone and post acne spots. I've never felt so lively without wearing any makeup when i go out. Especially since i started using this serum my face has its own natural glow as if you've put extra highlight to your face but it isn't. It is just the work of the serum. ​

Vanity Trove: The Curated Version

It's been a while since I have been parading my troves ... Vanity Trove Beauty Boxes to be exact  =D I felt extremely 'atas' when the recent purchase from Vanity Trove was encased in this cream based with gold lining box. Yes, sometimes packaging makes a lot of difference in a purchase. A pretty packaging makes a happy customer. This is by far the classiest box around! =D

As usual there was a selection of 6 items allowed for a trove and these are what I have gotten for October 2013 :)

Decléor Aroma Cleanse Fresh Purifying Gel & Lotion (10ml)
Retail: RM118 per 200 ml for each bottle

Having tried some of Decléor products before, these too have the floral scent like the other range. A very pleasant one that refreshes your daily cleansing regime. It's also good to know that despite being produced with concotions of chemical-derived agents and catalyst, these are paraben-free product. 

Parabens are chemical preservatives that have been identified as estrogenic and disruptive of normal hormone function. Talika Lipocils Eyelash Conditioning Gel (2ml)
Retail : RM185 for 10ml

Derived from plant extract, it actually guarantees longer and thicker eyelashes in just 28 days! Great news for those who have never found a solution for naturally longer lash and depends solely on mascaras =D Claims to be able to give a lift for those who have short and sparse lashes, brittle and lack of lustre.

Nuxe Nuxellence Jeunesse (15ml)

Youth and Radiance Revealing Fluid

Retail: RM180  for 50ml

There has been so much rave about Nuxe this couple of months that I can't resist not getting it to try out. Upon reading the product info, it feels like I have found an obvious answer to anti-aging! It claims to be able to repair the mitochondrial DNA of the skin to reveal the skin youthfulness and radiance.

A pinkish based cream with a soothing scent of floral that is good to go as moisturiser for those with normal skin. You may need another layer of moisturiser for those who have severely dry skin as this may not give you the sufficient  moisture level on its own.

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multipurpose Dry Oil (10ml)

Retail : RM88 for 50ml, Rm148 for 100ml

The oil that doesn't leave you oily - Nuxe Hule Prodigieuse! Most of the Nuxe products have names that is almost impossible to be pronounced correctly, yet gives you the most of benefits =D I love the scent of this oil! It's not floral, instead more spicy and classic. With a  unique concentration of 6 Precious Oils (Borage, St. John's Wort, Sweet Almond, Camellia, Hazelnet Hazelnut and Macadamia) and Vitamin E, it leaves your skin silky smooth and with the lingering scent that is soothing. As it's not oily, you can use it on your face too besides the normal use on body for that boost of hydration.

Kiehl's Super Multi-Corrective Cream at 7ml

Retail: RM210 for 50ml

At the mention of the word 'Super' there is no doubt that this is another must try sample! I would say that no brands will be that bold to put the word 'SUPER' as part of the product name unless it really is super! It claims to be able to give results in just 4 weeks! This Kiehl's Super Multi-Corrective Cream claims is an anti-ageing cream that assist to correct various effects of aging in 2 weeks time and by the time you reach 4 weeks of usage, you are supposed to see the obvious results and efficacy of the cream, so it says. Well, what better way to see if it works, if not try this 7ml sample for 2 weeks :)

Astalift Day Protector SPF35 PA++at 7g

Retails at RM158 for 30ml

The Astalift Day Protector is a lightweight sunscreen lotion with a selection of SPF35 or 50, if not misdtaken as I noticed the one shown in Vanity Trove is SPF50 and I got a SPF35. Which is fine for me as I seldom leave the office anyway =D I like that it's not greasy and extremely lightweight. Formulated with Deep UV Guard Technology, it claims to protect skin against the most harmful UVA rays which most suncreen can't do. Another interesting component which is noteworthy: it contains Fujifilm's propriety optical powder known as "Light Analyzing Powder", the Day Protector White controls the reflection and absorption of light on skin's surface. Wow! Did they mean those Fujifilm negatives contains these powder that gives us the glow when our pictures are developed?

How many of you here have always been reading about Vanity Trove but are still hesitant to give it a try? Without Vanity Trove, I must say I have no idea that brands such as Nuxe, Decleor, Rodial and many more actually exist! Not a fan of shopping mall or that frequent in buying fashion and beauty magazines, I actually rely on these beauty boxes to equip me with the latest of beauty products worthy to try. And for RM50, I get to test and see if the Kiehl's Super Multi-Corrective Cream is going to erase some aging effects off my face, while getting to slather some Nuxe oil for silky smooth skin, and leaving home with a day protector cream that claims to be able to protect from UVA, and sleep over a youth cream that can repair mithocondrial cells for a youthfull face - what else can I ask for!?

Modbox October

Compact, fuss-free and economical.
These are the 3 words I can perfectly describe my October Modbox.
Filled to the brim, minimal la-la-la decorative paper and for RM9.00 only. ;)
Isn't that straight to the point enough? Just like how I expect those officers at work to go straight to the point when presenting their sales pitch. =P

My October pick

For the October sample selection, there's a total of 7 items for selection. You are to pick 3 for your box at RM9.00. Besides Ronasutra which is a brought-forward item from the previous month, all other brands are newly introduced ones. I actually don't mind if there's a repeat of Ronasutra 2-in-1 Mineral Foundation and Powder because it's such a great product that if you have gotten a wrong shade for the first time, you can try to get the right shade for the next box. ;)

I just realized that for products that come in different scents or shades, you are able to choose your desired one via the scroll down tab provided. By doing so, you are sure to get what you want and not a random scent or shade that is not of your liking. ;)

The highly raved about Dermedex that I see every other beauty bloggers crooning about. :)

I only managed to try out the cleanser which is a non-foamy, herbs-scented based cleanser. It is also minty and leave the skin feeling cleansed and supple (seriously!) despite the non-foamy base.

It promises a clearer skin in just 3 days. You up for it?

Since I am trying out the Dermedex Cleanser, I though I might as well finish it up with the Murad Resurgence Hydrating Toner as part of the cleanse and tone facial regime. =D

If my sense of smells is not extraordinarily off the radar, this one gives a slight fruity element without being too sweet. Just a mild fruity elements, like a concoction of papaya and the sort.

The 15ml bottle that you get in Modbox is sufficient enough for you to try for more than a week to see if this is going to be your next favourite toner. Contained in a spray bottle, this is brilliant for girls on-the-go for that spritz of hydration whenever there is a need to freshen up. The product uses the Murad's formula under the Science of Cellular Water (TM), Murad’s proprietary system for optimising cell hydration and skin health. I feel hydrated already! 

I give this a 5 star for hydration and convenient packaging!

Fans of body moisturiser, here's another interesting range for you to try out! For the Modbox edition, it comes in a set of 3 - the Kneipp Body Range.

There's Kneipp Almond Blossom  Body Lotion, Eucalyptus Herbal Bath and Lavender Body Oil. For you sachet haters, sorry to inform but all of this comes in sachet. It's still an interesting discovery though.

A must try!

I love oil! For no particular reason. I always assumed that body oil have much more benefits and can provide longer lasting hydration compared to lotion since it's oily and thereafter sticky. =P

As the Lavender Body Oil comes in a sachet which is pretty hard to try out, and yet I don't want to waste a single drip, I poured it all into a contact lens bottle, haha! 8ml of pure lavender oil!

The oil absorbs quickly and leaves no greasy stain after. Great to apply before bunking in to sleep for that soothing and calming effect from the mild lavender scent while getting your skin hydrated.

A solution to those who faces hair-fall issues. The Human Nature range of Strengthening Shampoo with Cream Foam claim to be able strengthen hair to reduce breakage and hair fall by an astounding 80%. I got one in Aloe and it smells like a concoction of Aloe, cucumber and all things vegan! =D

The 50ml trial bottle would most probably last you 3-5 washes depending on your hair length. Since I have just gotten my dip-dye colored hair, won't be using this as yet. Am working towards all sorts of shampoo that can extend the period of my hair colour for now. =P

Derived from 96% of natural ingredients!

The last product to introduce is the Lavera Hand Cream - a certified, natural vegan-friendly hand cream! As more and more people are going against cruelty to animals, this is definitely something that you can use without qualms. Made without animal based ingredients and not tested on animals itself, it contains organic almond and shea butter. Since this is almost pure organic, do not expect any form of chemically infused fruity or sweet 'scentsation'. It's all in natural form, remember? ;)

Main ingredients among which are water (hence you need to shake well before use), shea butter and soybean. Works great to nourish those cracked heels and elbows.
